We will custom design a course for you

The Watson School Office of Engineering Professional Development can design a course to meet your company's specific needs and process specialization. The courses can be offered at your site, on campus, or via several distance learning options. We can also design programs that meet the needs of several firms with common training requirements.

Since our mission centers on professional development support for the practicing engineer or technical professional, we are always eager to develop courses to meet a particular need. We can develop courses tailored specifically to the needs of a group of individuals or a particular company's applications. Courses can address very detailed processes or a more comprehensive treatment of the subject matter. Courses can be offered in traditional classroom settings, through Internet delivery, or by real-time compressed video.

Here is what will happen.

We will collect relevant information about the training request and arrange for a meeting or conference call between your company content experts and our faculty. At this meeting, we will determine exactly what the company wishes to accomplish with training, the expected exit skills, how the knowledge will be applied, and how the company would like to have the training delivered.

A curriculum outline will be developed for company review and approval.

A final curriculum and schedule for instruction will be developed and presented for final approval.
